On This Day: June 20 2019

Today in 2019, Sleep Token released the full audio for the first song on their first LP, Sundowning.

The collective slowly released all songs from their first album like singles, although they were not considered as such. This continued until the full album release on November 22 2019.

It is noted that this song is revisited in Sleep Token’s third album release, towards the end of the twelfth track. A callback, if you will, bringing the three album cycle full circle and to an end.

On This Day: June 17 2019

Returning to 2019, the collective changed their profile photo as well as their cover/banner photo. This coincided with a teaser video posted to their Facebook page featuring the intro to The Night Does Not Belong To God and the runes for all the songs on their first album, Sundowning. Thus begins the lead up to the full album release in November 2019.
