On September 8 2023, the Blue Ridge Rock festival was the kick off of the collective’s first headlining tour in the U.S., the North American Rituals. They played on the Zyn stage at 19:30 (7:30 PM) local time.

In the midst of the tour the collective was performing in support of In This Moment, they made an appearance at the Blue Ridge Rock Festival on September 8 2022. This day they opened the Fan Driven stage at 12:00 PM local time.

Music Release: Thread The Needle

Today we celebrate the eighth anniversary of the release of Sleep Token’s song, Thread The Needle. This was the first official music release from Sleep Token and was revealed to the world on September 8 2016. This day also included a music video release posted to their channel on YouTube. The full EP, One, would be released December 6 2016.

It is still possible to purchase the digital version of Thread The Needle via the collective’s BandCamp.

Blood 1983 Tour – Atlanta

September 6 2022 found the collective in Atlanta, Georgia, at the Tabernacle with In This Moment, Nothing More, and Cherry Bomb.

II Drum Cam Hamburg – Vore

In 2023, the indomitable II shared a drum cam video of Vore from the ritual the collective performed in support of Slipknot in Hamburg, Germany in June. [IG]

Correction: Heavy Metal Music Awards 2021

It has come to this curator’s attention that the message that was recorded at the Heavy Metal Music Awards in 2021 was also mentioned to have been played at the Download Pilot festival earlier in June 2021.

At the time, it was speculated that it might be used as an intro track in the next album that was scheduled for release in September of 2021.
