Further Reflections on the Past:
June 18 2021
The pandemic put a hold on many things, and the Collective was not exempted from this. Thus it had been over a year since Sleep Token performed for followers. The last ritual held had been in the month of January, at the beginning of the year that wasn’t: 2020.
The Download Pilot, held June 18 to 20 2021, was a 10k capacity pilot festival to help open up live music. It was done in collaboration with the powers that be, with testing and so on, to ensure the safety of the attendees.
This event included our dear collective returning to stage with Sundowning under their belts, and a new album cycle in the works. Some day this curator will cover the hopeful, but brief Isolation Rituals that never were.
The setlist was as follows, including the first on stage performance of Alkaline:
Thread the Needle
The Night Does Not Belong to God
The Offering
Jaws
Dark Signs
Alkaline
Sugar
Nazareth
Higher

Today in 2019, Sleep Token released the full audio for the first song on their first LP, Sundowning.
The collective slowly released all songs from their first album like singles, although they were not considered as such. This continued until the full album release on November 22 2019.

Teaser video posted to social media.
Link to Youtube audio posted with teaser.
Produced by George Lever. Written and composed by Vessel and II.
It is noted that this song is revisited in Sleep Token’s third album release, towards the end of the twelfth track. A callback, if you will, bringing the three album cycle full circle and to an end.
