Dear Anon,
Thank you for the kind words. This curator has indeed battled with the feelings you have ascribed to me. This blog and its mirror would continue to exist should such appreciation be diminished, simply due to my own stubbornness and the joy in sharing the history of the collective. Grateful am I for what attention and love this blog receives. Your comments and tags bring me much amusement and kinship.
This whole process started as a means of educating my own self on the origins of iconic photographic imagery and cinematic footage that have pervaded the tangled webs of the internet. With the increased likelihood that the dear collective would decide to hide or delete additional social media posts, this curator was then driven to birth this blog into existence. Part selfishness of wanting to personally catalog the collective that inspired me to make changes to my life and part as a means of sharing with fans, new and even old, what had come before.
It is my hope that my fellow followers, “Tokenites” (old term from 2017-2018), and so on, will accept this as my gift to them. A means of sharing what has been found, what was once lost to the vestiges of time and forgotten at the edges of the collective’s history. A group of people dear to me have shared much of what they have located as well and it is my hope that they see this and know the gratitude I have for their assistance and friendship.
Thank you for reaching out and giving encouragement. It has made the day for me and brought this curator further determination to keep going. Perhaps this response is long-winded but it was an opportunity to further explain the purpose and origins of this blog. Thank you for that as well.
Yours in Worship,
Curator of the Sleep Token Archive
